Urban music channel MTV has announced the nominees for the 2013 edition of the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA). Top Nigerian music acts P-square and Wizkid acts were nominated in the Best African Act category.
Other artistes nominated in the same category include Ghana’s Fuse ODG and South Africa’s Mafikizolo and Locnville (LCNVL).
The winner of the category will represent Africa at the global music celebration.
The Best African Act winner will move on to the next phase of voting which is the Worldwide Act category.
