The CBN said on Tuesday that the Bank Verification Exercise (BVN) has been extended to October 31, 2015, according to NAN. The Central Bank had earlier fixed Tuesday, June 30, as deadline for the exercise, warning that defaulters may not be able to access their accounts from July 1.
As the deadline approached, millions of customers spent hours on long queues at banks across the country, struggling to have their data captured.
